EXPERIENCE
My journey to becoming a licensed architect took me through The Pennsylvania State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture and an English minor. I have over ten years of experience working on a variety of project types, scales, and complexities. My background spans all phases of the design process from schematic design through permitting and construction administration, and I am accustomed to collaborating on fast-paced projects with diverse owner and consultant teams. With me I bring a thoughtful and comprehensive design approach as well as a high level of technical expertise and experience.
PHILOSOPHY
Over time I have come to view architecture as being more than just a physical manifestation of brick, concrete, or steel. Architecture is about ideas - ideas that help guide our interactions with our environment and that help to shape the development of the world around us. The practice of architecture is about the exploration and expression of these ideas and about telling different stories. Each new project is an opportunity to use both the artistic and technical aspects of architecture to develop new solutions, push boundaries, and help foster positive change within a community.
